The head of the Honeycomb, the Queen Bee is regal and graceful. She takes her station as Queen seriously and protects all her bees fiercely, which makes her well-loved at the hive. She is also fun loving and gracious and loves to host hive gatherings with only the best golden honey to dine on. And although the Queen is usually fastidious in her neat appearance, if a spot or two should dare show themselves, not worry she can easily remove her royal dress for a good cleaning.Her little bee body is done in mercerized black cotton thread and accented in a velvet yellow and adorned with fuzzy iridescent wings. Her Queenly face is accented with rosy cheeks, black safety button eyes, long lashes, and adeptly tuned antennae.
