Strong and steadfast, the Guard Bee is just as fierce as the Queen in protecting the hive. He can be seen frequently by the Queen's side or stoically making his security rounds. And you wouldn't know it, but one of his favorite stops on his rounds is the nursery. The harden exterior hides his big heart and he enjoys playing with the Baby Bees just for a few seconds. You'll instantly know if you're in the presence of this dashing protector by his steel gray tunic accented in the hive colors of Boysenberry Purple and Jade Blue, and adorned with the hive symbol, a hexagon with the starburst in the middle.
His little bee body is done in mercerized black cotton thread and accented in a velvet yellow and adorned with fuzzy iridescent wings. His face is commonly seen with furrowed borrows and a look of warning to outsider that flashes in his black safety button eyes, and his adeptly tuned antennae are always on the lookout for trouble.
