One persons weed is another's gorgous flower!  Sunflowers are one of the best loved plants and one of the easiest to recognize with their dark centers surrounded by the vibrant, velvety soft yellow petals.  This also makes them a perfect gift symbolizing luck, lasting happiness, longevity, loyalty, and love.
I wanted to capture as much of their grandure as I could with the Sunflower Fields Afghan.  Starting with the center each sunflower square is done in marbled brown and black, then edging outward to the soft, deep silky, yellow petals, and is finished off with a dark olive green border with a leaf like pattern.  Each of these wonderful features diffently makes this afghan a perfect accent piece in your home.
